Branding for travel companies.
Travel is where we do our best work. It's also one of the hardest sectors to brand properly, because a travel brand has to survive in more places than almost any other: a high street window, a 40 page brochure, a booking journey, a departure lounge, and someone's memory of a fortnight they will talk about for years.
What makes travel different
Most sectors have quietly abandoned print. Travel hasn't, because it still works. People keep brochures, leave them on kitchen tables and come back to them in the evening, which is more sustained attention than any digital ad will ever buy.
The purchase is considered rather than impulsive, often involving more than one person and weeks of deliberation. That means the brand has to hold up across a long journey and repeated exposure, not just win a first glance.
And the range is enormous. The same operator might sell a ski week and a Maldives fortnight. An identity that only works for one of those has not solved the problem.
Where we help
Brand rollout and execution. You have a new identity and now several hundred people who weren't in the room have to apply it. This is what we did for Kuoni, and it's the phase where most rebrands quietly come apart.
Brand creation. Positioning, naming and identity for new travel propositions, or ones that have drifted from what they actually sell now.
Websites and digital. Design and build, structured so you're found by search and by AI assistants, and fast enough that the booking journey doesn't leak people at every step.
Why a small studio
Large travel accounts usually get handed to a large agency and then quietly delegated to whoever is available. With us you get the person you met, doing the work. We take on a limited number of projects at a time and that's the trade we have chosen.

Common questions
- What kind of travel companies does G&Co work with?
- Tour operators, expedition and adventure travel companies, luxury travel brands and hospitality groups. We've worked with Kuoni, one of the best known names in UK travel, and Xped Global on high-end expedition travel.
- Do you do brand rollout as well as brand creation?
- Yes, and rollout is arguably where we're strongest. For Kuoni we supported the execution of a brand we didn't create, taking it across retail, campaign, print and digital. That's a rarer skill than designing an identity and it's where most rebrands fail.
- Do you understand travel booking journeys?
- Yes. Travel is unusual in that print still converts, retail still matters for some operators, and the digital journey is long and considered rather than impulsive. A brand has to hold across all of that, which is a different problem to most sectors.
